Adobe Dng Profile Editor

The X-Rite software is very limited. It produces just one flavor of profile. Many people find it too saturated and contrasty for what they want. I tend to prefer the QPcard 203 Book although I sometimes use the ColorChecker Passport with the Adobe DNG Profile Editor. The Adobe DNG Profile Editor is a free download.
Photoshop and Photoshop Elements both use Adobe’s Camera Raw Plug-in. To make a DNG camera profile for use in these applications, follow the steps below. First the image will need to be a DNG file format: Open an image of the ColorChecker Classic in the Camera Raw plug-in. Don’t edit the image, but make sure to verify that it was exposed.

The DNG Profile Editor is a free software utility for creating or editing camera profiles. “DNG Specification” means any version of the Adobe DNG Specification made publicly available by Adobe (for example, version 1.0.0.0 dated September 2004).

Adobe Dng Profile Editor Download Mac

I recently bought a used converted camera to try out infrared photography.
I've tried using the DNG Profile Editor to overcome white balance restrictions in Lightroom 5.7.1.
The Profile Editor tells me it has exported the profile I have created but the created profile will not appear in the Camera Calibration section.
When I check the profile that has been created the file is only 1kb in size. Other profiles for that camera that Adobe has created are 110kb.
I have downloaded the DNG Profile Editor a few times thinking it was a problem resulting from a faulty download but it is always the same.
Is anyone having any joy in using the DNG Profile Editor?
