• This is the first time that I've handled round bales with my tractor (Kioti DK 45). I picked up a 3 pt. Hitch bale spear on the way home, and my tractor can handle the rolls okay, but it will be a lot tougher in the winter when the ground is muddy. It is a bit slow tying, but unless you're doing a lot of hay, it isn't bad. The other thing, is they don't like tough hay.

Description

New Idea 486 Round Baler I have used a NH 644 with a bale monitor and auto tie alarm, but the 848 has hydraulic tie and an overload shear pin, in case you are daydreaming and forget to tie off the bale before it gets big enough to cause strain on the bale chamber.
